With more than a decade long career in event planning agencies in London & Athens, Ariadni Gaziani founded PointofU, a company that has developed extensive expertise in events and specialization in destination wedding planning.

When Hamish and I began to plan our wedding, it soon became apparent with our roots being on different continents that a destination wedding was on the cards! We had spent some time in Mykonos together and loved the island and so it was an obvious choice. However, we were nervous about planning a wedding in a foreign country where language and logistics could be a big issue and headache. I started to look for a wedding planner to assist us with our arrangements and nobody quite fit until I spoke to you! From the moment we were introduced, I knew I was in safe hands for both my pre-wedding event and the plans around my wedding ceremony and reception.
You understood immediately what I was looking for and I was truly so grateful that with our budget being pretty fixed you had no problem with reassuring me that you could turn my dream wedding into a reality - and you stuck to it -there were no hidden surprises. You are such a positive person with a can-do attitude which is just what a bride needs around her wedding planning. Nothing was too big to ask and I really appreciated your organisation, talent and creative eye to make suggestions that absolutely fitted what we were going for. Your team and associates are absolutely top class professionals and an absolute pleasure to work with. They all know their crafts and made sure that their respective offerings matched what I wanted and made me feel very at ease that the day would go down perfectly. Which it did!
From the moment we touched down in Mykonos, you and your team were on hand and ready to make each moment of the journey special and seamless. Not only did you support me, but also my family and friends. They absolutely loved you and kept telling me how lucky I was to have found such a gem!
Needless to say both the pre-wedding cocktail party and wedding day itself went down without a hitch and it was the best weekend of my life to date. I was able to enjoy every moment, stress free. Everything was in place thanks to you and your team! People are still talking about what an amazing time they had-celebrating, eating amazing food, drinking and dancing until dawn! I organized my wedding from half-way across the world and took it upon myself to do everything. I at least had the good sense to realize I needed some support on the day as I didn't want my mother or anyone else from the wedding party missing out on the fun because of logistical issues. Ariadni was a pleasure to work with; she was infectiously enthusiastic about every little detail, came up with easy solutions to things that had me stuck and was the best support for me and my husband on the day. Unexpected rain changed our venue plans at the last minute and we felt at ease knowing that she was in charge. Throughout it all she was calm, collected and happy, exactly the kind of attitude from someone who needs to be on your team on such a day.
